Last Sunday, we planned to stay in and cook something nice. What to cook is always a difficult question in our household coz our food habits are like totally opposite. We somehow decided on tikkas and the first time in microwave was quite a success 🙂

Ingredients:

Paneer – 200gms is enough for 2 people

Curd – about 150 gms, cut in rough squares, not very thick

Capsicum – deseeded and cut in cubes the same size as the paneer.

Onions – same as capsicum.

Tomatoes – deseeded, cut in cubes just like the other vegetables.

Salt to taste.

Chat masala.

Red chilly powder – a pinch.

Toothpicks – 10-15, immerse in water for some time so that they do not catch fire.

Instructions:

Mix ALL ingredients apart from the toothpicks, together. Ensure that the vegetables and the paneer pieces are well coated in the curd masala mix. Keep aside for about  30 minutes.

Preheat your microwave and set in to grill (settings differ from brand to brand, so please check the settings at your end.

Take a tooth pick and insert paneer, onion, tomato and capsicum alternately. Keep aside.

Once microwave is set to specifications and preheated, put the sticks in it cook for 12 minutes.

Once ready, serve hot!
